Position Description
Henry Ford Medical Center - Ford Road, located in Dearborn, offers adult and pediatric primary care, behavioral health services, a pain center, walk-in laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and an OptimEyes super vision center. Additional services include dermatology, women’s health, rehabilitation services and more
We are located on Auto Club Drive, which is accessible from Ford Road or Hubbard Drive.
Henry Ford Pediatrics is dedicated to the care of children in Michigan. We strongly believe that the provision of care is not limited to ambulatory clinics and hospitals but extends to the child’s family and community. And as part of that pledge we are continuing to grow and improve our expansive clinical services in both primary care as well as all the specialties across all age groups for pediatrics ranging from the newborns to adolescent care. General Summary
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator when appropriate.

Hours: Rotating Days and Weekends-Scheduled hours will be any hours between:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
Minimum of 1+ years as a Registered Nurse
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel. Preferred experience in the specialty.
Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
Certifications/Licensures Required
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).

- 8AM-8PM (Monday & Tuesday)
- 7:30AM-5:30PM (Wednesday-Friday),
- 7:30-12:30 Saturdays Rotate
